Introduction

Environmentalist need strong allies, and who can be stronger than the Head of States of the countries of this planet. Rather than criticising non-stop, perhaps it is a better idea to identify Head of States who have done much for the environment and encourage them with awards.

The Environment Action Network therefore would like to invite nominations for the Environmentally Friendly Head of State Award 2005. Put your nomination for your favourite Head of State in the comments, giving reasons why your nominee deserve this award, or provide links to site detailing his/her environmentally friendly actions.

We propose that a trophy go with this award.
